Investors allege RM66mil scam by 'Datuk', lodge report with MACC
KUALA LUMPUR: A British investor, along with 10 local investors, lodged an official complaint with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) against a businessman with the title of 'Datuk' ,alleging they suffered losses of RM66 million through an investment scam.
MaPeR action group chairman Shah Abdul Malek said the complaint was lodged over an investment scam operating since 2018 through several ponzi companies, which he claimed had cheated hundreds of other victims with losses of over RM300 million.
